Little Mix are eyeing-up a quick return to the stage after they were forced to cancel two show’s because Jesy Nelson took ill.
The group – made up of Jesy, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – are scheduled to perform at the Sheffield Arena on Saturday.
There was a question mark over whether the girls would be able to play after pulling out of two concerts in Belfast on Thursday .
However the venue has told BBC Newsround that the show is expected to go ahead as planned tomorrow evening.
The arena has continued to retweet posts about the show, with one reading: “Girl group ‘Little Mix’ are performing live this Saturday night @SheffieldArena #WhatsOn #Sheffield #Derbyshire.”
Many had already arrived at the venue when the announcement was made shortly before their afternoon gig was due to start at 2pm.
A statement from the band on Twitter explained: “Little Mix have unfortunately had to cancel both of their Arena shows in Belfast today.
“Sadly Jesy is unwell and unable to sing, and as a result both the matinee and evening shows are cancelled.
“Little Mix would like to apologise to their fans. Ticket holders should hold on to their tickets and await further news.”
The brunette songstress sparked concern when she told the fans ‘I’m so emotional’ while struggling to contain her tears.
After she tried to compose herself, Jesy’s bandmates could be seen rushing to comfort her, before she said: “I don’t know what’s wrong with me!”
