Q: How would you describe your beauty style?
Jade: I always have eye liner on the top, I can’t live without it and I’ve got a favourite pair of eyelashes that I always wear. And now I’ve got really dry lips, so I always have to have quite moisturising lipstick.
Q: Who is your celebrity hair icon?
Jade: I think Jameela Jamil’s got really good hair. She’s got wicked hair. I like really big, healthy looking hair.
Q: And whose beauty style do you like?
Jade: Oh, Demi Lovato. I love her make-up because it’s never too much, but when she does, she just looks really fresh all the time and young and cool.
Q: What look do you go for off-duty?
Jade: I never used to wear make-up, hardly at all before all of this, so it was quite a shock at first, putting it on and stuff. But now I usually wear eye liner on the top, mascara, a bit of lip balm. I like to keep it quite casual, not too much through the day if I’m not working. I think you feel more like Cinderella if you go out that way.
Q: How would you describe your beauty look?
Leigh-Anne: I tend to wear strong lips, I love a deep red, kind of like a browny-red, it’s quite deep. Because my eyes are quite sleek, I don’t tend to wear fake eyelashes, I just use my own because they make my eyes look really small. So I don’t wear eyelashes and I like a lot of contour.
Q: Who is your celebrity hair icon?
Leigh-Anne: Celebrity hair I’m going to say Nicole Scherzinger, which is where I got this style from, with the plait and the bun. And Rihanna as well. I always go on Google and search Rihanna and see what her hairstyles are…
Q: She’s always evolving…
Leigh-Anne: I know yeah, because I love changing my hair all the time, that’s the main thing change about myself, so I love getting new ideas from those two.
Q: And what about a celebrity beauty icon?
Leigh-Anne: I normally look at people like Rihanna and Beyoncé for their make-up, because they have similar skin tones. Things that look good on them might look good on me.
Q: And what about your off-duty look, when you’re not working, what do you like to do make-up-wise?
Leigh-Anne: Just a usual base, just your normal base foundation, a bit of blusher, eye liner on the top and then mascara and then a little bit of eye liner on the bottom and then I’m done.
Q: How would you describe your beauty look?
Perrie: Well, I like my make-up to look quite natural, not too caked, I like the kind of nudey colours. I love a bit of eye liner, I love fake eyelashes, I love everything. This is one of my favourite make-ups, this is something similar I had for Leigh-Anne’s birthday party and for the Teen Awards, like before we got the red carpet look and I like it because it looks natural, but it still looks quite glam at the same time.
Q: Who is your hair icon?
Perrie: I like Marilyn Monroe, I like the fact that she’s got white hair and then red lips, I love that look.
Q: What inspired you to change your hair colour?
Perrie: Well I’ve always been blonde, when I was born I had like white hair anyway, it was platinum white. As I got older I started going browner and stuff like that, but I just love blonde hair and I’ve got the ash wash now, like purple shampoo and I’m addicted to it. I put it on and I leave it on for half an hour and I’ll come to work the next day and my hair stylist will be like “your hair’s purples” and I’ll be like “I know, it’s how I like it.” I really like it that colour, I think it’s really quirky and it’s something different I think.
Q: Yeah, we love all the rainbow trends! So, who’s your beauty icon as well, who do you look to celebrity-wise?
Perrie: I like Marilyn’s make-up as well, I think that’s nice, just like a plain eye liner, red lip, little beauty mark. I love stuff like that.
Q: And what about your off-duty look?
Perrie: Oh, an absolute tramp! No, I like to wear make-up, because I feel like I get more spots if I don’t wear make-up, because I touch my face a lot and I can’t help it and I’m always doing it at work or at home, or if I’m just sitting around.
When I’ve got make-up on I feel like I’m not touching my face as much and it’s a barrier, so I do have a base on, then a tiny bit of mascara maybe and maybe a lip gloss or something for my dry lips. But I never walk around the house with fake eyelashes on and all that stuff, I like to chill out a bit and I always like to moisturise my face and take all my mascara off, because you’ve got to be careful, I don’t want my eyelashes to fall out.
Q: How would you describe your beauty look?
Jesy: It’s a soft, bronzy, smoky look.
Q: Who would you describe is your celebrity hair icon?
Jesy: I don’t have one.
Q: You just like to do your own?
Jesy: Yeah
Q: And what about beauty, do you look to anybody?
Jesy: Kim Kardashian.
Q: What do you go for in your off- duty look?
Jesy: I just try and do it exactly how Adam [Burrell, the girls’ make-up artist] does it, it never works.
Q: If you’re on a night out, there’s no Adam, what would you do, what would do your regime? Do you still go for big eyes?
Jesy: I always want big eyes, I don’t want small eyes.
Q: Do you go for a red lip?
Jesy: No, I don’t like powerful colours on my lips.
