One Direction and Little Mix are among the acts lined up to present their own radio show for charity.
Both groups along with JLS will host their own takeover spots on Capital FM in support of their Help a Capital Child appeal weekend, which runs between October 26 and October 28.
Prizes will be auctioned off as part of the three days of special programming; including a backstage meet and greet with Ed Sheeran in Dublin, tickets to the Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere and a chance to see Example at Stereosonic Festival in Sydney.
Dalton Leong, Managing Director of Help a Capital Child said: “This month marks a year since we launched our first ever Capital FM network charity appeal, which was a huge success and raised over £180,000.
“Through the great work of our charity, we’re delighted to continue to support the work of Teenager Cancer Trust, making such a difference to so many young people living with cancer across the UK. I am confident that this year’s appeal will create another landmark and we thank our amazing listeners for getting involved.”
The money raised will go towards funding specialist care units and care for young people living with cancer across the UK, through Teenage Cancer Trust.

One Direction befriended Little Mix during last year’s X Factor, but it seems the ladies have attracted the attention of a new, fresher boyband from the show: step forward Union J.
The lads told of their love for the Little muffins in an exclusive interview with new! magazine this week and George Shelley, in particular, has a major crush on one of the girls. Is it Perrie Edwards? Should Zayn Malik be worried?
Bandmate JJ said:

“We spent time with Little Mix and George has a huge soft spot for Jesy Nelson.”

Zayn, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
But what about poor Ella Henderson, who George is said to have been growing close to backstage at X?
The 18-year-old Harry Styles lookalike insisted: “Ella and I are just friends. Seriously.”
Josh added:

“We loved Little Mix. We were embarrassingly star-struck meeting them: it was so funny. We all go for girls who are proud to be in their own skin and are happy within themselves.”

Looks like Union J are going to rival their 1D buddies in the romance stakes. Look out ladies.

Little Mix, Gary Barlow and Pixie Lott added to the glamour of the Attitude magazine awards last night (October 16).
The X Factor winners made sure they didn’t go unnoticed at the event, wearing a range of chic dresses.
Jade Thirlwall matched her black outfit with Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson, while blonde Perrie Edwards went for a Grecian-style blue dress.
Gary Barlow won the ‘Most Stylish Man of the Year Award’ which was handed to him by fashion icon Julien Macdonald.
Showing off her animal side was Pixie Lott, who attended the party in a strapless, leopard-print dress with her hair up in a ’50s bun.
Held at One Mayfair in London, she left her boyfriend Oliver Cheshire at home and was presented with a ‘Fashion Brand Award’ for her work with Lipsy.
They were joined by McFly’s Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd and Danny Jones who were all suited and booted as Harry won the award for ‘Hottest Man of the Year’.
Singer Will Young won the ‘Culture Award’, while Marina Diamandis picked up the ‘Best Music Award’ presented by Little Mix, and Sir Ian McKellen won the ‘Icon Award For Outstanding Achievement’.
Party goers included stylist Grace Woodward, Tamzin Outhwaite, EastEnders actor John Partridge, Louie Spence and designer Henry Holland.

Zayn Malik told NOW: ‘When I’m away at work, Perrie understands because it’s the business. Our jobs are full-on every single hour of the day. She gets that because she has to do exactly the same thing. We have a lot of trust and understanding between us. I think that’s why our relationship works. It can be difficult [to keep up a relationship on the road] but that depends on the situation and the people.
We had an understanding from the start. I told her, ‘This is my job, this is what’s going to happen, stories will come out. Do you still want to be with me?’ That was established from the start and after that it was about me and her. Perrie has a lot of trust in me and I have a lot of trust in her. That’s why it works.’

Zayn on Rebecca Ferguson breakup: ‘It was just a weird situation and a weird time I was going through being away from home on the X Factor tour,. To get that comfort and friendship from someone was nice. But I think it was a wrong decision to make at such a young age. Then it did end quite badly so we don’t talk any more.
That was definitely unrealistic. That’s evident now.’
Rebecca was more open to media: ‘I tried to stay away from getting into that because I’m not interested in the technicalities of whatever happened. It was just a wrong idea from the start. It shouldn’t have happened. It did. And then we dealt with it and went our separate ways.’
