Several weeks ago, Columbia confirmed plans to formally CNCO & Little Mix’s “Reggaeton Lento (Remix)” at US pop radio.
The label just announced an impact date for the song.
Per Columbia’s weekly pop radio newsletter “Reggaeton Lento” will impact the format in conjunction with the October 24 add board (the week of October 23).
Unwilling to wait until then, stations like Music Choice’s Top 40 channel, Orlando’s 101.9 AMP, McAllen’s 107.9 Mix FM, and Miami’s Y100 have already begun to play the song.
That early support, coupled with airplay during this weekend’s “Most Requested Live” show, earned “Reggaeton Lento (Remix)” a Top 75 position at pop radio.
‘Glory Days: The Platinum Edition’ will release on November 24th, with the expanded collection featuring three new songs plus recent Top 5 single Reggaeton Lento (Remix) with CNCO.
Music Week magazine reports that Jade, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie will release Glory Days: The Platinum Edition on November 24, with the expanded collection featuring three new songs plus recent Top 5 single Reggaeton Lento (Remix) with CNCO.
As if that wasn’t enough, the release also includes a never-before-seen documentary that goes behind the scenes of their world tour, plus remixes of Touch (ft. Kid Ink), No More Sad Songs (ft. Machine Gun Kelly) and Power (ft. Stormzy) that were not included on the original album last November. The Kid Ink version of Touch was serviced to US radio only earlier this year.
Glory Days became Little Mix’s first UK Number 1 album last November, shifting 96,000 copies in its first week alone. Glory Days spent five weeks at the top of the Official Albums Chart, becoming the longest reigning Number 1 album for a girl group on the Official Album Chart since the Spice Girls’ debut in 1996. The news follows the girls giving an interview with iHeart Radio last month, explaining new music was coming “very soon”, and that “soon means we can’t tell you because we’ll get told off by our label.”
Little Mix’s next UK arena tour coincides with the repackaged album, with 37 dates taking place across October and November.
