HOME and Away and Neighbours producers listen up — Little Mix want in.
As fans of the Australian TV soaps, the British girl group say they were approached to make a cameo on one of the shows.
Having played shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne at the weekend, the girls — Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson — couldn’t fit a day of shooting into their schedule but have vowed to appear on either show in the future.
“We would love to do a cameo,” Thirlwall said. “We were asked. Absolutely.”
As a bit of trivia, Pinnock was named after Jesse from Home and Away and Edwards is “obsessed with surfer boys”. Edwards, who was engaged to One Direction’s Zayn Malik, said: “Any hot surfer guys, Australia is the place for men.”
Ed Sheeran made a cameo on Home and Away last year while Neighbours has had a revolving door of high profile guests over the years.
Little Mix wrapped their Australian tour in Melbourne on Saturday night and have now flown to Japan.
They’re currently enjoying chart success with new single, Hair, a collaboration with Sean Paul, and are still on the charts with Secret Love Song that featured Jason Derulo.
And they revealed a new album will be recorded by the end of the year. Top of their hit list for collaborations would be Macklemore and Nicki Minaj.
“We want to do some more things with rappers as well, something cool and a bit more r and b,” said Nelson. “We actually have no idea what it will be yet but we would like it to be something you’d hear at the club and still quality music. We don’t want to go too far from where we are now but each album we are growing up.”
Pinnock added: “We always like to change things up. We wouldn’t want to bring out an album that everyone would expect it to be.”

Justin Bieber was in the headlines again this week for declaring that he no longer will take ANY photos with fans. So Smallzy asked uber girlband Little Mix what they thought of the ‘no photo’ policy and whether the Bieb’s is doing the right thing.
Justin Bieber has been in the spotlight since he was 12-years-old, so with nearly 10 years of fame under his belt does he have the right to call it quits on taking fan photos? These are the people who have made him rich and famous.
However, is it fair we keep making the Bieb’s feel like (in his words) ‘a zoo animal’
Smallzy asked UK girlband Little Mix and you may be surprised by their answers!
