The X Factor group are currently at No.2 on the digital countdown…
Little Mix’s debut album DNA has blasted its way into the US iTunes chart.
Since going on sale earlier today (May 28), The X Factor girlband’s LP has entered the countdown at No. 2 on the digital store’s best-selling list.
Only Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories stands between the deluxe edition of Little Mix’s album and the top spot, while the standard version is at No.11.
Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jade and Jesy’s debut single Wings hit the US earlier this year, with the song featuring on American Idol and Glee.
The girls previously told Seventeen magazine that pals 1D gave them advice when it came to cracking the US, with Leigh-Anne explaining: “I asked the boys from One Direction how to make it in America and they basically said, ‘Be yourself and you can’t go wrong’.
“People know when you’re trying to be someone you’re not. Just be true to who you are. So that’s what we’ve been doing!”
Little Mix are also set to perform on Good Morning America on June 7

Little Mix can confidently give themselves a pat on the back as they have managed to achieve the impossible task of making their record label boss Simon Cowell a very happy man following the success of their debut album ‘DNA’ in the US.
Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Ann Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirwall have embarked on a whirlwind promotional tour in the States this week to support the release of their first album ‘DNA’ which has enjoyed success in the UK since its release last year.
Incredibly, the album has raced up the US iTunes chart in the last week sitting at number two only behind Daft Punk’s untouchable record ‘Random Access Memories’, which is currently dominating the album charts in 20 countries.
Clearly bowled over by the instant popularity of the album, X Factor boss Simon congratulated the four-piece for all the achievements they have clocked up since winning the competition in 2011.
“So proud of @LittleMixOffic! The first group to win @TheXFactor UK have released their debut album #DNA in the US,” Simon tweeted on Tuesday.
Little Mix have been hard at work over the last few days drumming up anticipation for the album which has so far included hosting an album signing at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, where they greeted a hoard of fans who have snapped up a copy of the record.
The LP features the chart-topping hit ‘Wings,’ edgy second single ‘DNA’, reflective number ‘Change Your Life’ and the Missy Elliott-featuring track ‘How Ya Doin?’
‘DNA’ is out in the US now. Well done, girls!

“We’ve always wanted our own reality show haven’t we!? But we actually want to film it,” Jesy Nelson told Kiss FM.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: “So if we film the footage then hopefully that’ll happen. Dreaming big! It’s one of our dreams to have our own reality show but if we all had to live in the same house together it would absolutely mental.”
The quartet recently described the response to their music in America as “overwhelming”, with Perrie Edwards adding: “We saw on Twitter how many fans we had, but we didn’t realise until we went over there.“
