They embarked on a huge world tour earlier this year, but Little Mix have now hinted that they could be set to play one of the biggest venues of all – Wembley Stadium.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk last night at a secret London gig for Cornetto’s Make A Move Campaign, the girls admitted that they would love to headline the iconic venue on their next tour – which is set to take place next year after the anticipated release of their fourth album.
‘Oh god we’d love to’, singer Jesy Nelson told us.
‘I mean yeah, it can only really get there can’t it? The tours are getting bigger so that’s what we’d like to aim for.’
But when further pressed as to whether plans were already afoot for a show at the 90,000 capacity venue, Jesy was cryptic, refusing to rule out the prospect.
‘Who knows?’ she said. ‘Fingers crossed.’
The X Factor winners also confirmed that their fourth studio album will be released before the end of the year – and teased about taking their sound in a whole new direction.
‘It’s going to be a lot dancier’, Perrie Edwards told us.
But the girls remained tight-lipped when quizzed about any big name collaborations on the new record, having previously teamed up with Missy Elliot for How Ya’ Doin, and Jason Derulo on Secret Love Song.
However, they revealed that they would be up for joining forces with US girl group Fifth Harmony on a track in the future – a prospect that is bound to send the fans of both groups into meltdown.
‘Yes! Imagine the sass’, Perrie Edwards said.
‘The hair whips would be off the scale’, Jade Thirlwall added.
It’s a prospect that can’t come soon enough.
