The Little Mix star has inspired lovesick fans thanks to the success of Shout Out To My Ex.
Perrie, who sang about being dumped by her old flame Zayn Malik, loves mending broken hearts.
She told me: “I’m like an agony aunt. I feel amazing, I can’t get enough of it.
“So many people approach me at nightclubs saying, ‘You changed my life, I’ve never felt better’. Or, ‘I got dumped two weeks ago and your song makes me feel great’. Guys too have told me they put the song on repeat to help them.”
Perrie, 23, isn’t the only one dishing out advice. Jesy Nelson, who’s been partying hard since their new album hit No1, told me; “Glory Days is a love and heartbreak album. Now women, older women too, randomly come up to tell me their problems. It makes you feel good.”
There’s always some relationship drama around a Little Mix release. Whether it’s Perrie and Zayn or Jesy and Jake Roche.
Perrie laughed: “I suppose that’s what makes us so relatable. Songs like FU – everyone’s had an FU moment. Everybody’s had a Nothing Else Matters moment too.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 25, agreed: “That’s why everyone has taken to the album. We say what we want, even if it gets us into trouble.
